More fun for everyone! From skilled riders looking to get rowdy on gnarly terrain to new riders looking for the most forgiving, confidence-inspiring bike out there. The wider rims and big 3. tires let the Bad Habit run lower pressures for ultimate control across the nastiest rocks and roots. The large rolling diameter and increased air volume gives you an incredible approach angle and floation over tricky sections but without the weight penalty of fat bike rims and tires. Unlike many "27+ bikes out there which are really just repurposed 29'ers running 2.8 tires, the Bad Habit's lightweight, Smartformed alloy frame is designed specifically for 27+. Room for full 3. tires, short chainstays and dialed geometry means better performance and more fun. The Bad Habit Carbon 1 frame comes with a full BallisTec Carbon main frame with carbon link and SmartFormed Alloy rear. Lighter and stiffer than aluminum, more shock proof than steel, Ballistec Carbon can shake off rock strikes and impacts that would destroy Habit's flimsy competition. The Zero Pivot rear is a special construction that needs no bearings, no bushings, nothing to add weight or cause play, just seat stays engineered to flex along a given path, providing a plush, progressive travel. It also reduce unsprung weight for better suspension response. The oversized axles in the swingarm and link lock into place with a unique expanding collet system, dramatically increasing the system stiffness. The 12 mm travel, 68 degree head angle, custom 55 mm fork offset, short chainstays and low-slung chassis offer the perfect blend of speed and capability to let you shred whatever on the mountain throws your way. Suitable for that wide 76 mm bars, shorty 6 mm stems, 18/16 mm brake rotors and wider rims put you in absolute control. The built in Lefty 2. Alloy XLR fork comes with a combination of superior needle bearing technology and plain bearings. In contrast to the plain bearing only design of the competition, here a very low-friction guidance of the linear spring movement is achieved. That means that the fork does not have to overcome static friction during super-hard brakes, shocks and heavy steering effort. The wheel can hit the ground always free and guarantees maximum control. For 217 it comes with a new air spring assembly, called 2Spring. This internal update decreases the strut's activation force by 7 lbs and makes for longer service intervals. The Bad Habit Carbon 1 is equipped with Shimano 1x11-speed shifting performance with XTR rear derailleur. Strong hydraulic Shimano XT disc brakes allow great braking power. A lightweight carbon wheelset and superb Schwalbe Nobby Nic tires provide a guarantee that acceleration forces of any direction transfer directly to the trail. A wide lowriser handlebar provides maximum performance. HABIT - more fun while getting rowdy!
